Ginger Flash Mob, 25 March 2011

I am organising a ginger flash mob on Friday evening 25^th March at an art exhibition in Main Street Life in Johannesburg (address below).

What is a Flash Mob? A Flash Mob is a term coined in 2003 to denote a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and sometimes seemingly pointless act for a brief time, then disperse, often for the purposes of entertainment and/or satire. I would obviously like to have as many gingers as possible, but believe that this could not be effective without at least 40 gingers. Therefore, please respond and let me know whether you are able to attend this event and flash mob or not. I need all the support I can to make this a success.

The flash mob will occur between 19:45 and 20:00. Imagine the beauty and effect of seeing 40+ gingers in a group together. Please also wear a white outfit or top. The flash mob will be documented (video/photo) so you will be able to see how cool it looked after.

There will be art, DJs and a cash bar so it should be a really fun night out. There will also be a ginger café which will sell all things ginger such as gingerbread men, ginger snaps, ginger cake, ginger ale, ginger beer and ginger tea, manned of course by gingers.
