TEDxJohannesburg video

On 18 August 2013 I was invited to give a TED talk at TEDxJohannesburg. It was the scariest thing I have ever done – but an amazing and rewarding experience too!

The talk deals with anecdotes of being a redhead and the real concept and meaning behind the project.

I would love to hear what you think! Please leave comments…

I Completely Loved your TED talk, I’m a TED fan and It was SO awesome to watch!! I laughed at people now coming up to you trying to convince you they were ginger too. Its SO true!! People want to be red heads now, loads of people are dying their hair.
Being a natural Redhead is a huge part of my identity and I love it.
I am 25 yrs and from New Zealand. I’d love to be a part of your collection 😀

Hi Anthea. I loved your talk and have been fascinated by your collection. As the mother of one of your collected gingers, I was surprised at the similarities between the gingers you collected. I had trouble identifying my 20 year old as I paged through your book. I am convinced that they are all somehow related and very definitely superior to the rest of us mere mortals.
